As long as Rockstar continues to innovate and bring us something fresh with every game, whereever we decide to play next should be good. There are still plenty of places to explore, and cities to look at. At the same time though, there is no real reason for the game to leave the shores of the United States either. The American dream has seemed to spread across the globe at this point anyway. While the games have followed the satirical “ Americana” themes, there is no reason why we need to stay within the U.S.
While it’s fine to expand, or come back to the same locations every once in awhile, it may be time for something new. They do need to start adding some new locations to their games though. I wonder if it might be something more like Vice City or San Andreas and not a numbered sequel. No matter where Rockstar plans to take us next, surely it is going to be a good experience. They don't actually say GTA VI, just the next entry in the series. We’d more likely to see something like this in Assassin’s Creed, but it may be an exciting location to play through for the GTA 6 as well. At any rate, it would certainly make for a great location that most games simply haven’t even bothered to explore at all. There could be ancient, Egyptian carvings depicting alien abduction and lost mummies. Cairo literally has new building built on top of old ones too, so there is plenty of underground exploration that the player could do, and it would be a perfect location for Rockstar to keep up their conspiracy theories from the previous games with aliens.
